The Parable Coffee Story

In short, a parable is a “teaching story.” Typically the parable uses common elements of daily life to emphasize an important lesson. For many people the word "parable" resonates with Jesus’ teachings found in the New Testament. It is in that same spirit that Parable Coffee was conceived. Who would know that we could learn important life lessons through coffee?

Parable Coffee seeks to provide coffee with a story. Important elements of that story include life-sustaining issues such as Fair Trade and direct relationships with  coffee farmers. World sustaining elements of that story include organically grown crops and environmental stewardship. Each element is central to the evaluation of acceptable green coffee beans for roasting.

After careful selection, the green coffee beans are roasted in small batches. Coffee is best, in my opinion, soon after it has been roasted. This endeavor began with the search for great tasting, freshly roasted coffee, that can be shared with others. We look forward to you becoming part the Parable Coffee story.
